I found that VEC Tokyo Team will hold an FCC examination in Tokoy. It was only several weeks before the exam but I dared to applied it. Thereafter, I tried practice test provided by QRZ.COM or downloaded sample question pools from VEC homepage.

First class examination in Japan is very strict and difficult. Pure engineering contents and legal contents. On the other hand, I found that FCC exams are very practical and reasonable.

On the exam day, there were about 10 VEs, although FCC only requested at least three VEs be present. There were about 20 candidates present. About 1/3 were new, including myself, and rest were from General class or Extra class.

Fourtunately, I was able to pass all three class exams. They explained that we could receive the exam twice if we failed. I almost believed I should receive Extra class exam again but I was lucky.
They said that I will recieve FCC license in about one month.
FCC Extra class allow me to operate same previlidge as Japanese First class power limitation.
